An intimate dinner exploring why we want what we want, and why the forbidden can be so intoxicating.
On October 15th, we’re joined by Niki Davis-Fainbloom (Miss Bloom) for an exploration of The Psychology of Fetish.
From the familiar to the forbidden, we’ll look at how fetishes form, what shapes our particular desires, the role of fantasy and taboo, and what might happen when we approach what turns us on with curiosity rather than shame.
With no more than 18 guests, the evening is designed for real access to our featured guest: listening, questioning, challenging ideas, sharing perspectives, and letting the conversation evolve around the table.
Featured Guest: Miss Bloom

She is the author of the forthcoming book, Fetish: Smash Taboos and Celebrate What Turns You On, which explores the science and psychology behind our desires and how we can approach what turns us on with more curiosity and less shame.
She has facilitated 500+ workshops at organizations including Planned Parenthood, New York University, and the United Nations. In NYC, she also produces playful, sex-positive events ranging from body paint dance parties and dating events to sex education workshops and Kinky Carnivals. Her work combines research, humor, and interactive experiences to make conversations about sex, relationships, and desire more approachable, fun, and shame-free.

Off Menu is a dinner series for the delightfully curious.
Each evening is set in a beautiful private NYC loft and features a tasting menu prepared by a Michelin-trained chef, paired with a guided talk, performance, or demonstration centered on a specific theme. Select evenings feature keynote speakers exploring topics around attraction, intimacy, relationships, and the psychology of human connection.
Upcoming topics include “The Art of Attraction”, “The Appeal of Surrender”, “Fashion, Skin, and Suggestion”,“Sex Myths We All Believe”, and more.
After dinner, the music rises and the lights dim. The evening continues with an optional after-hours experience with space to mingle, dance, or play.
Attendance is for Night Owls members only and limited to no more than 18 guests at dinner and no more than 18 additional guests after dinner. Discretion and consent are foundational.
Off Menu is built for people who find great conversation genuinely attractive.
Each evening begins with a provocative idea introduced by a keynote speaker, setting the tone for thoughtful discussion around attraction, relationships, psychology, and human behavior. The small dinner table format encourages real dialogue rather than surface-level small talk, drawing a room full of curious people who enjoy asking better questions and exploring interesting perspectives.
By the time dinner ends and the evening shifts into cocktails, music, and after-hours socializing, the room is already buzzing with connection.
Off Menu creates a rare environment where ideas, curiosity, and chemistry can unfold in the same room.
