Wet Hot Brooklyn Summer is a one-day neighborhood gathering celebrating art, health, culture, and identity on Moffat Street!
A neighborhood block party with a little more heat 🔥
Food trucks, DJs, performers, artist stands, games, giveaways, and space to dance, sit, and hang across Moffat Street… all wrapped in a 70s-inspired summer vibe.
Free with RSVP. Come early, stay late. Optional private house parties for members open throughout the day.
Catch a groove 🌑🦉🪩
Presented with House of Good Deeds
We’re teaming up with House of Good Deeds to weave community impact into the day, with on-site activations, a raffle featuring donated items, and clothing collection from guests. It’s a chance to show up, participate, and support their ongoing work across NYC.
Bring a piece, leave it with purpose.
Love Your Block
As part of the New York City Love Your Block project, the event will feature a community cleanup day to engage residents and volunteers in improving the block, strengthening neighborhood pride, and creating a lasting, visible impact.
HOUSE PARTY
Throughout the day, two house parties in private indoor spaces will feature a more curated and intimate atmosphere with lounge areas, dance floors, performances, music, hosted bar, private restrooms, and Studio 69: a 70s-inspired sexy dance party by Naughty Disco! These spaces are ticketed, separate from the public street gathering, and are intentionally kept limited in capacity.
House Parties are for Night Owls members only, apply here.
The street event is free to attend. These tickets are for separate private indoor spaces.
🛋️ The Conversation Pit (Chill)
A softer, slower space designed for connection.
The Conversation Pit offers a lounge-style environment with comfortable seating, low-slung energy, and music that sits just beneath the surface. It’s a place to land, meet new people, and settle into the rhythm of the day with a drink in hand.
💃 The Disco Lounge (Dance)
A tighter, higher-energy space built for movement.
The Disco Lounge leans into a dance-forward atmosphere with DJs, a darker mood, and a crowd that’s there to let go. Expect a shift in pace, a more high-energy room, and a pull toward the music as the day builds into night.
Access to the House Party includes a hosted bar, music, performances, and private restrooms. Capacity is limited.
Free entry w/ RSVP!
Volunteers
We’re bringing this to life with the help of our amazing neighbors, friends, and community members. Volunteers will get a chance to meet others involved in building the event and be part of the experience behind the scenes.
Shifts available across setup, guest experience, and breakdown.
As a thank-you, volunteers will receive a limited edition gift set designed by Night Owls in collaboration with local artists and a credit toward a future Night Owls experience!
To volunteer, register for the Volunteer ticket when you RSVP.
Ethically Partnered Contributors
We’re collaborating with a select group of ethically partnered contributors to help bring the day to life through experiences, resources, and shared support.
We’re looking for:
Creators and Brands interested in sharing their work
Food & Beverage Vendors serving the local community
Wellness Practitioners providing health, movement, and mindfulness experiences
Community Groups aligned with art, culture, health, and identity
With hundreds (100s) of attendees expected on-site and reach in the hundreds of thousands (100K+) online through community partners, this is a chance to show up in a meaningful and memorable way.
If you want to add to the energy of the day, we want to hear from you.
Community Partners
We’re partnering with a select group of community organizations, collectives, and platforms to help shape Wet Hot Brooklyn Summer and extend its reach.
